With a protein content of 50 to 60 percent, it also beats all types of meat. Insect meal is ideal for cooking and baking and is set to enrich and secure the culinary future.

Start-up firm deeeper.technology GmbH has developed software which evaluates satellite images and high-resolution aerial photographs – for an astounding 50 square kilometres in just one second. It’s a milestone in measurement technology and crucial for effectively managing the energy transition. And it benefits energy companies, wastewater associations, grid operators and municipal administrations throughout Germany.

Project Bay was launched on the island of Rügen in 2020 as a coworking and living space offering direct access to the beach. The company now has nine locations in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and is popular with entrepreneurs, corporates, freelancers and creative minds from the fields of digitalisation, travel tech and the mobility of the future to name but a few.
